La plus intuitive est s\u00fbrement l\u2019\u00e9coute directe, \u00e0 partir d\u2019enregistrements sonores, qu\u2019il faut cependant aussi \u00e9couter, analyser et transcrire en mots pour l\u2019Autre lecteur.\u00a0D\u2019une certaine fa\u00e7on, ce travail rejoint celui des chroniqueurs et voyageurs anciens qui mobilisent des souvenirs auditifs et les mettent en mots pour construire un r\u00e9cit parlant et sonnant pour leur lecteur. Bien souvent, cette auralit\u00e9 litt\u00e9raire ne vise pas seulement l\u2019effet de r\u00e9el ni m\u00eame la pr\u00e9cision sonore. Les jeux d\u2019\u00e9criture, les habitudes install\u00e9es par la rh\u00e9torique, les &lsquo;fa\u00e7ons de dire&rsquo; et la m\u00e9moire litt\u00e9raire enrichissent le r\u00e9cit en y instillant de multiples \u00e9chos sonores. D&rsquo;un autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, cette \u00e9criture de l\u2019auralit\u00e9 peut\u00a0\u00eatre profond\u00e9ment conditionn\u00e9e par la pens\u00e9e philosophique,\u00a0religieuse et m\u00eame\u00a0m\u00e9dicale du son et de l\u2019audition.
