Dans les sciences humaines et sociales, la nuit est davantage appr\u00e9hend\u00e9e comme un espace-temps culturel, social, \u00e9conomique et politique, comme \u201cun autre temps qui poss\u00e8de des particularit\u00e9s essentielles non transposables\u201d<sup><a class=\"sdfootnoteanc\" href=\"#sdfootnote1sym\" name=\"sdfootnote1anc\">1<\/a><\/sup>. Associ\u00e9e \u00e0 des imaginaires et des v\u00e9cus plus ou moins heureux, la nuit g\u00e9n\u00e8re des mobilit\u00e9s, des pratiques et des modes de pens\u00e9e non ordinaires, pour celles et ceux qui la vivent, la mod\u00e8lent et tentent de l\u2019organiser. Historiquement et culturellement construites, les bornes de la nuit (physiologiques, politiques, astronomiques\u2026) se superposent et se renouvellent sans cesse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les premi\u00e8res approches de la nuit remontent \u00e0 la d\u00e9cennie 1980, sous l\u2019angle des mentalit\u00e9s, des imaginaires et des repr\u00e9sentations<sup><a class=\"sdfootnoteanc\" href=\"#sdfootnote2sym\" name=\"sdfootnote2anc\">2<\/a><\/sup>. La nuit commence ainsi \u00e0 \u00eatre pens\u00e9e comme un objet pluridisciplinaire sans toujours constituer le sujet principal de l\u2019\u00e9tude : il existe notamment des r\u00e9flexions sur la criminalit\u00e9, le travail, les festivit\u00e9s ou l\u2019obscurit\u00e9 (r\u00e9elle ou m\u00e9taphorique) dans les arts, la litt\u00e9rature et les sciences historiques<sup><a class=\"sdfootnoteanc\" href=\"#sdfootnote3sym\" name=\"sdfootnote3anc\">3<\/a><\/sup>. Dans le sillage des travaux pionniers de g\u00e9ographie, de nouvelles approches ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mobilis\u00e9es pour appr\u00e9hender cet espace v\u00e9cu dans ses dimensions \u00e9conomiques, culturelles et politiques<sup><a class=\"sdfootnoteanc\" href=\"#sdfootnote4sym\" name=\"sdfootnote4anc\">4<\/a><\/sup>. La nuit est \u00e9galement devenue un moyen d&rsquo;\u00e9clairer diff\u00e9remment certains ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes comme la r\u00e9gulation des pratiques par les politiques publiques ou l\u2019\u00e9tude des conflits<sup><a class=\"sdfootnoteanc\" href=\"#sdfootnote5sym\" name=\"sdfootnote5anc\">5<\/a><\/sup>. Depuis 2010, plusieurs publications tentent de proposer un cadre th\u00e9orique et m\u00e9thodologique \u00e0 ces <i>Night Studies. <\/i>La nuit peut enfin \u00eatre un concept au service de questionnements sur les structures mentales et les paradigmes scientifiques occidentaux, qui pensent n\u00e9gativement la \u00ab\u00a0noirceur\u00a0\u00bb ou la vie nocturne. Notre objet d&rsquo;\u00e9tude peut devenir un outil r\u00e9flexif permettant de d\u00e9passer certaines de ces certitudes<sup><a class=\"sdfootnoteanc\" href=\"#sdfootnote6sym\" name=\"sdfootnote6anc\">6<\/a><\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toutes les communications devront proposer une dimension r\u00e9flexive sur l\u2019objet de recherche qu\u2019est la nuit. Qu\u2019implique son \u00e9tude pour la posture du\u00b7de la chercheur\u00b7euse et son environnement de travail ? Quelles sont les sources et les approches privil\u00e9gi\u00e9es ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>1) La nuit, entre r\u00eave et cauchemar <\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Moment intime ou partag\u00e9, de calme ou d\u2019agitation, la nuit fascine, soulage et effraie. Elle suscite bon nombre de discours et de repr\u00e9sentations. Quelles sont les \u00e9motions associ\u00e9es \u00e0 la nuit ? Comment coexistent des imaginaires parfois contradictoires ? De quelle fa\u00e7on est-elle per\u00e7ue, d\u00e9peinte et v\u00e9cue ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>2) La nuit sous contr\u00f4le<\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u2019un point de vue politique, la nuit g\u00e9n\u00e8re des enjeux singuliers, qui se traduisent par des dispositifs de surveillance plus \u00e9troits. Ainsi en est-il de la fermeture des portes des villes, du couvre-feu et de l\u2019extension de l\u2019\u00e9clairage public. Comment les autorit\u00e9s am\u00e9nagent-elles et encadrent-elles la nuit ? En retour, comment les populations r\u00e9pondent-elles \u00e0 ces mesures et s\u2019approprient-elles cet espace-temps ? \u00c0 l\u2019inverse, quelles pratiques tendent \u00e0 se retirer pendant la nuit, ouvrant ainsi la voie \u00e0 des situations marginales ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>3) La nuit comme ressource<\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>En m\u00eame temps que la nuit s\u2019illumine, elle g\u00e9n\u00e8re une \u00e9conomie propre, encourag\u00e9e par les politiques lib\u00e9rales. <span style=\"font-family: Roboto, serif;\">Comment ces changements ont-ils g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9 des pratiques de divertissement et cr\u00e9\u00e9 une \u00e9conomie nocturne ? <\/span>Cela suscite aussi des conflits d\u2019usage entre les diff\u00e9rents <span style=\"color: #4d5156;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00ab&nbsp;<\/span><\/span>peuples de la nuit&nbsp;<span style=\"color: #4d5156;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00bb<\/span><\/span><sup><a class=\"sdfootnoteanc\" href=\"#sdfootnote7sym\" name=\"sdfootnote7anc\">7<\/a><\/sup>. Quelles sont les formes et les implications de ces tensions ? Alors que certains conqui\u00e8rent la nuit, d\u2019aucuns soulignent les effets n\u00e9fastes d\u2019une telle posture sur les \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes (pollution sonore, lumineuse\u2026). Quelles politiques de pr\u00e9servation et de mise en valeur (touristique notamment) ont \u00e9merg\u00e9&nbsp;?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces th\u00e9matiques devront \u00eatre abord\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019\u00e9tudes de cas et de travaux empiriques issus de diverses disciplines (g\u00e9ographie, histoire, histoire de l\u2019art, arch\u00e9ologie, sociologie, anthropologie, philosophie, langues et litt\u00e9rature, musicologie, psychologie, sciences juridiques, science politique, \u00e9conomie, sciences de l\u2019information et de la communication, \u00e9cologie\u2026).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Modalit\u00e9s de r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 l&rsquo;appel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les propositions des doctorant\u00b7e\u00b7s ou des jeunes docteur\u00b7e\u00b7s devront \u00eatre envoy\u00e9es <b>avant le 18 mars 2024 <\/b>\u00e0 l\u2019adresse : jjctelemme@gmail.com. Elles comporteront un titre, un r\u00e9sum\u00e9 de la communication projet\u00e9e (500 mots maximum) ainsi qu\u2019une br\u00e8ve pr\u00e9sentation de l\u2019auteur\u00b7ice (nom, situation, unit\u00e9 de rattachement).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La journ\u00e9e d\u2019\u00e9tudes se tiendra le <b>29 mai 2024 <\/b>\u00e0 la Maison M\u00e9diterran\u00e9enne des Sciences de l\u2019Homme, 5 rue du Ch\u00e2teau de l\u2019Horloge, 13094 Aix-en-Provence.
