This presentation explores how the bodies of care givers have been portrayed in video content online for the past ten years. More specifically, it focuses on how the carers used their own bodies to denounce the lack of resources in public hospitals in France. To do this, the presentation is first based on the description of the video corpus we developed during this study in collaboration with the Web archives team from the INA (The French National Audiovisual Institute). And then, the presentation explores the way in which the caregivers’ bodies were mediatized online in the corpus.
